GOVERNOR VISITS VICTIMS OF THE OKU HELICOPTER CRASH

 
    Governor of the Littoral Region, Samuel Dieudonné Ivaha Diboua has today visited the six victims of the air force helicopter that crashed on Monday May 13 in Oku, Bui Division of the West Region of Cameroon.
   Mr. Samuel Dieudonné moved in the different wards of the military hospital in Douala to console the injured victims. Acting as a bearer of faith and comfort on the part of the Head of State, he said that he has come to give the message of support from the hierachy.
   However, according to official sources, the aircraft on a command mission had seven persons on board; the pilot, the co- pilot, the flight engineer, the Divisional officers of Noni, Boum and Oku and a police officer acting public security commissioner of the Noni Sub Division.
   Nevertheless, according to the governor, the police superintendent and acting commissioner of the Noni Sub Division, Victor Ngwe Wiyou died when the helicopter crashed about midday in Oku.
   Meantime, official sources informed investigations has been opened to determine the exact cause of the accident.
