Biya Validates Special Status but Traditional rulers remain Skeptical.

Head of State announced during the Paris Peace Conference that measures have been taken to implement the modalities of special status in the two Anglophone regions in Cameroon.

Meantime traditional ruler and civil society leader Chief Dr Joseph Mofor believes that the implementation of the special status which according to president Biya is a solution to the Anglophone crisis has nothing to do with the crisis.

According to Chief Dr Joseph Mofor, the Head of State needs to go personally to the North West and South West and dialogue with the fons and the people of the two regions as remedy to the socio-political crisis.

Nevertheless as concerned the possibility of the announced municipal and legislative elections holding in the North West and South West regions, the traditional ruler thinks only God can tell if the elections will take place there in February 2020 or not.
