Schools in Cameroon will effectively resume in all ten regions including the North West and South West regions on Monday, 2nd September 2019.
The Minister of Communication, René Emmanuel Sadi made the announcement during a joint press conference on Monday 26th August 2019.
Government spokesperson said government has taken measures to ensure that primary and secondary schools as well as universities resume in line with the school calender.
The joint press conference with all the Ministries of the education sector was occassion to outling the numerous attrocities caused by anti school campaigners including kidnappings, killings, rapes, burning down of schools and other forms of psychological intimidation and manipulation.
The Minister called on international partners to work with government to ensure that the basic human rights of the children of the North West and South regions are respected
