SDF president Ni John Fru Ndi on Friday outlined solutions to the Anglophone Crisis while presenting their party's position on the crisis during the Head of Government visit to Bamenda.
After being assured by the Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Ngute's confirmation of the Head of State message of dialogue on any condition except separation, the chairman said their party is ready to mediate for any dialogue aimed at resolving the crisis.
The opposition party which advocates for Federalism, made four proposals that can resolve the hitting armed conflict in Cameroun.
The SDF called for an "an immediate cease fire" and the "demobilization of the armed forces as well as separatists". They also called for the "immediate release of all political prisoners held in connection within this crisis", as well as "a mediator to prepare for these talks" which they opt to be.
All in all, the visit of the Prime Minister in these regions is with much expectations from the Cameroonians that this brings a lasting solution to the deepening hitting Anglophone Crisis. Nevertheless, with all these words, they hope actions are done more as soon as possible so that people return to their homes and children return to schools.
