MINISTER OF SECONDARY EDUCATION FINALLY VISITS GBHS DIEDO AFTER STUDENT MURDERED


   Cameroon's Minister of Secondary Education, Pauline Nalova Lyonga on Thursday 11, 2019 visited Government Bilingual High School (Lycee Diedo) Douala Littoral Region close to two weeks after the stabbing of a form four student, Breliot Tsanou on campus.
   Her visit comes up at a time when students are still on Easter Break. The minister, after taken to the spot of the incident placed a flower there to pay tribute to the murdered student.
  Again, in the course of the day, the Education boss later visited the home of the Tsanou's in the Bepanda neighbourhood of the same city to console the family and tell them that the government feel their pain.
   According to Minister Pauline, in a brief discussion with the teachers and administrators of the college, security and disciplinary measures should be enforced on campus.
 Nevertheless, minister of Public Health, Manaounda Malachie has since reacted to the incident by suspending three nurses for three months and firing the Director of the Hospital for unethical professionalism after the pictures of the deceased were seen on the social media.
  All in all, gone but forgotten, Breliot Tsanou, 17 year old was stabbed on campus. He was rushed to the Diedo District Hospital but later died. He was buried last weekend in his native Fongo Tongo village in the West Region.
