BUEA INHABITANTS ENGULFED BY THE HABIT OF FLEEING THEIR HOME TOWN

Many people are Fleeing and others have already fled to neighbouring cities like Douala and Yaounde for fear of the unknown.
Buea inhabitants are seen leaving the town with their bags for fear of the three days imposed lockdown by separatists against the labour day celebration coming up on the first of May 2019.
Reports say the lockdown this time around is in two phases that is the first which starts on the 29 and ends on the first day of next month and the second phase against the celebration of National day  which will run from 17 to 20, May 2019.
This is not the first time such lockdowns have been announced. There have been series of lockdowns since the beginning of this crisis but the most recent was the 10 day lockdown that ran from 4  to 13, April 2019 to frustrate the Limbe Festival of Arts and Culture (Limbe FESTAC) but that took place till the end.
The deepening Anglophone Crisis which has forced thousands of people to flee their homes in both the South West and North West Regions of Cameroon has become a habit of inhabitants of going to and fro, some to return after some time and others never to return.
