According to president Uhuru all children have different talents and it’s the parent’s responsibility to reveal it and nurture it.
He added that parents shouldn't get weary in nurturing the skills and talents of their children and not imposing professions on their children mostly courses like medicine, even when a child is allergic to blood.
To the president many parents do not have time to recognize the capability of their children even when they would turn out to be popular artists, musicians or sports people.
The Kenyan president concluded that as parents, we should make preparations for our children to become the next Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, as he referred to renown technology entrepreneurs who worked so hard to solve problems for challenges of humanity.
The Kenyan president spoke all these during the grand opening of the third National Conference on Curriculum Reforms which took place at Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) on Saturday August 17, 2019.
